✔Educating patients and families about their conditions and teaching appropriate disease management techniques, such as breathing exercises and the use of medications and respiratory equipment.
✔ Delivering oxygen therapy via various devices such as nasal cannulas, simple masks, non-rebreathers, air entrainment masks, tracheostomy mask and T-piece.
✔ Conducting pulmonary function test, assessing, interpreting evaluations and test results, and determining treatment plans in consultation with physician and the prescription.
✔ Monitoring of critical care units’ patients who are on mechanical ventilators.
✔ Weans off patients from mechanical ventilation and to assist the physician for extubating patients.
✔ Determine requirements for treatment such as type, method, and duration of therapy, precautions to be taken,

✔ Performing Bronchopulmonary hygiene techniques, such as chest physiotherapy, coughing exercises and
postural drainage and percussion.
✔ Set up and operate devices such as mechanical ventilators and noninvasive ventilation (BiPAP CPAP,
PNEUMOVENT, E360, IX5) therapeutic gas administration apparatus, and aerosol nebulizers, following
specified parameters of treatment.
