Alissa Remo

Hello! My name is Alissa L. Remo, and I am 33 years old. I have been teaching for 8 wonderful years, and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education major in Mathematics.

Although my specialization is in Math, I am very much willing and excited to teach Kindergarten. I genuinely enjoy being around young learners—I love dancing, singing, and playing with them. These joyful and interactive moments motivate me to create a warm, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where children can grow and discover their potential.

I graduated Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education major in Mathematics in 2014 at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa. After graduating, I applied in a private school and hired at St. Therese of the Child Jesus School in San Pedro, Laguna, Philippines in 1 year with different grade level of students, elementary and high school level. I also teach in College of Sciences and Technology, Inc. at Sariaya, Quezon, Philippines for 1 and a half year, teaching Junior High and Senior High Students. Currently, I am teaching in a public school, and I am now in my 6 years of teaching here.

In my 8 years of teaching experiences, I have encountered different situations in a classroom setting. Since I am teaching high school students, I have adapted my teaching strategies to accommodate varied learning styles, academic abilities, and personal backgrounds, ensuring that each student feels valued and supported.
In addition to my classroom duties, I actively support my students beyond academics by being involved in various school activities that showcase their talents and performances. I assist them in preparing for events, guide them during practices, and provide encouragement that helps build their confidence. Whether they are participating in competitions, school programs, or extracurricular presentations, I make sure they feel supported, motivated, and proud of their achievements. Through these efforts, I help cultivate not only their academic success but also their personal growth and sense of belonging in the school community.
