About me:

Hi! I'm Catherine Rumbaua.

I believe I have a good share of varied experiences in different career paths that I could share! I advocate the principle that as long as learning opportunities are available, crystallized intelligence can increase indefinitely at any point in one's life.

To skew things off a bit, I enjoy being in tune with nature, caring for houseplants, and listening to 90's rock bands. Having done work in an island nation in Micronesia, I learned to appreciate different cultures and collaborated in various projects with multinational personalities. With an open, malleable mind, I can easily adapt to an unfamiliar environment while gaining more knowledge on the different cultural preferences and beliefs of the community.

My most recent participation in the health industry reaching 10 years by this date, includes a most fulfilling experience in Oncology Care that greatly enhanced my therapeutic communication skills; and experience as a Virtual assistant which boosted my multi-tasking skills up a notch. I developed a keen appreciation for compassionate teams and I'm on the hunt for one!



I recently just worked as an virtual administrative assistant focusing on different front desk and office responsibilities such as scheduling, email management, chart organization, creating articles/blogs and prospect calling/lead generation.

As a nursing staff, I managed errands for Oncology/ Cancer Center/ Bone Marrow Transplant nursing units such as organization and pick up and delivery of supplies, specimens, specific medicines, chemotherapy drugs, and blood products. I am well-trained to respond to all emergency situations. I also performed other administrative functions that may be assigned or delegated by the immediate superior from time to time. 

As a freelancer, I obtained ample training in transcribing English audio files for British, American, Australian and a good number of Hindu clients. Reviews of my work were surely satisfactory as I have had repeat transactions during the course of my membership. 

One of my first jobs is working as an office secretary for an engineering firm. I focused on different front desk and office responsibilities such as organization of documents, email management, sending out proposals and billing invoices, bank transactions, staff management, and payroll.





I have been trained on virtual medical services such as scribing, phone and email etiquette and related software.
