BS Mechanical and Biological Engineering specializing in Computer-Aided Design and Engineering (CAD and CAE) as I performed FEA on human tendon using ANSYS as individual thesis. I underwent 1 month training on the testing and production of car pedals and non-linear and linear analysis of car pedals to perform correlation and improve the analysis. I have technical skills in AutoCAD, Fusion360, CATIA, ABAQUS, and HyperMesh and willing to learn other CAD/CAE software.

  • Underwent training on CATIA, HyperMesh, and ABAQUS software for car pedal design and analysis.
  •  Studied the relationship and importance of process, validation, and testing in design department, specifically understanding the process of validation of the prototypes (factors contributing to crack and deformation) to come with a better design output.
  • Constructed setup for pedal simulations, specifically, constructing a more effective mesh, rigid, contact pairs, and troubleshooting, to produce a load vs displacement result that is close to the actual test.
  • Used ABAQUS to perform nonlinear calculations and troubleshooting of car pedals, while used HyperView to observe the behavior of the car pedal upon increasing load (kgf) and for data extraction.
  • Performed correlation analysis between ABAQUS simulation and actual test and performed research and experiments to provide recommendations for a more efficient and effective car pedal FEA analysis, having a test data result that is very close to the actual test data.
  • Performed 2 official jobs on the analysis of car pedals and report on the rigidity, residual, and yoke of the car pedal as per the company’s headquarters, Japan, requested for their client.

  1. Developed 3D models of the gracilis and plantaris tendon with the utilized morphology gathered through previous studies using Fusion360.
  2. Validated the developed model by comparing it to the existing data to ensure the reliability of the developed model.
  3. Calculated the biomechanical properties of the tendon models using APDL (ANSYS) and identified the maximum stress to identify the point of rupture.
  4. Discussed the importance of the biomechanical properties of the tendons in elbow stability as for the surgeon not to only refer to the tendons’ availability.
