Ferndale Bontia

A recent Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering graduate with a background in data handling, basic business analysis, and process improvement. I have experience working with tools such as Excel, and hold a Certified Six Sigma Yellow Belt (CSSYB). I’m a fast learner, a team player, and someone who works well under pressure. I’m also a great listener, open to feedbacks, and eager to develop my skills further especially in learning new tools and gaining real-world experience in the field of business analysis.

(DPWH) DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND HIGHWAYS

1. Planning and Design Section
Reviewed plan and structure design details for accuracy and completeness. Applied 5S methodology to organize and manage construction documents.

2. Maintenance Section
Conducted road inspections to identify defects. Performed root cause analysis to determine causes and executed time and motion studies to measure repair efficiency. Documented repair processes from start to finish.

3. Procurement Section
Assisted in preparing procurement documents. Organized and maintained records using 5S methodology for quick retrieval and tracking.

Graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and have completed 3 thesis (research, feasibility and capstone study) and was able to present our research in the USJR research congress.
