I have more than ten (10) years of professional experience in intellectual property management and technology transfer with a background in customer service, sales and business development. I’ve completed several training sessions in these areas, starting at the bottom to more advanced training, and I must say that I’ve learned from the best mentors here and abroad. I've worked with university researchers in conducting customer discovery and assessing the commercial potential of their research-based technologies; engaged with different government agencies and private companies in health, agriculture and manufacturing industries to accelerate technology transfer and develop business relationships; and managed UP trademark and copyright protection and licensing. I've contributed in the formation of the University of the Philippines' 1st spinoff, the Manila HealthTek, approval of more than twenty (20) trademark licenses for various purposes such as merchandising, film and services; and in the success of AghamBayan technology and knowledge festival. My personal core values are commitment, creativity, discipline, integrity and compassion. These values influence my decisions in life, relationships and aspirations. They keep me grounded and guided as I become everything I am capable of. I am currently taking up Masters in Technology Management at UP Diliman, a certified Filipinnovation Entrepreneurship Corps (FEC) Trainer, and a Leaders in Innovation (LIF) Fellow.
