James Ampongan

I have nearly two years of professional experience as an Architectural Designer and 3D Visualizer, producing detailed 2D drawings and high-quality 3D models for residential and commercial projects. I’ve collaborated with architects and engineers to ensure design feasibility, assisted in conceptualizing façade designs using parametric tools, and created photorealistic renders, walkthrough animations, and visualization materials for client presentations. Additionally, I have experience in graphic design, delivering branding solutions, promotional campaigns, and production-ready files for apparel printing. My technical expertise includes proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D (with Grasshopper), SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, Twinmotion, D5 Render, V-Ray, Corona Renderer, Adobe Creative Suite, and entry-level knowledge in Revit and ArchiCAD, allowing me to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and contribute to innovative, high-quality design solutions.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Saint Anthony in the Philippines and also studied architecture at Bicol University, where I built a strong foundation in design principles, technical drafting, and architectural theory. My education emphasized sustainable and functional design solutions, preparing me to contribute meaningfully to collaborative, multidisciplinary projects. During my studies, I enhanced my skills in both traditional and digital design workflows, which I now apply to professional practice in architectural visualization and project development.
