In my pursuit of new opportunities and learnings, I was thrilled to find your job posting as a Pharmacy Assistant. I am Jane Charlotte G. Soriano, a licensed Pharmacist here in the Philippines with almost 5 years of experience in the clinical field of my profession. Currently, I venture into different opportunities to find what I really wanted and I hope your offer might be the one I'm looking for.
Since 2018, I have worked in 3 different fields of my profession. The first one is at a hospital where I worked for almost 2 years. My responsibilities were mostly related to medication and supplies  purchasing, dispensing, and counselling. I became a officer-in-charge when my department head went on leave. I ensure that the pharmacy runs smoothly by providing the needs of the patients and updates the legal documents. Then the pandemic hits, I resigned in the middle of the year and opted to stay at home in fear that I might infect my whole family. After a year, I applied as part of the COVID-19 Vaccination team in our Municipality and was assigned to be part of the Post Monitoring team. My responsibilities were to monitor and interview patients after the administration of the vaccines. The vaccination head decided to assign me to handle and monitor the vaccines and supplies. I worked with the head nurse to schedule the weekly deployment of vaccines then I make the poster for announcements. When the vaccination rate declined, I resigned and applied as a store pharmacist in a local pharmacy near our area. I was tasked to prepare and dispense medications bought by the customers and counsel them with their proper use. To keep the pharmacy, I ensure that the legal documents like temperature monitoring logbook are updated for future use. Also, I trained assistants with their tasks. Together with them, we check the expiration of the medicine and supplies for the safety of the patient.
I have been out of the field for some time due to unexpected medical issues. However, I am ready to go back to the workforce now that the issue is solved and I am healed. I hope that this will give me a chance to work with you as I try to discover and learn more from a practice outside the Philippines.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Prepared and dispensed patient medication, counsel patient regarding
medicine use, assisted patient in choosing the right over-the-counter medication, inventoried medicines and supplies every week or as needed, checked expiration date of medicines in the pharmacy, updated regulatory files (Room Temperature Logbook) everyday, and guided Pharmacy assistants in their duties and responsibilities in the pharmacy.

POST MONITORING PERSONNEL / PHARMACIST     San Simon COVID-19 Vaccination
Duties and Responsibilities: 

Monitored and dispensed vaccines, monitors and records bio-refrigerator
temperature, daily inventory of vaccines, handles vaccination supplies, counsels and monitors patients after being vaccinated, renders first-aid if adverse reactions occur, and prepares posters and disseminate announcements.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Prepared and dispensed in- and out- patient medication, counted and
recorded medicines and supplies every week or as needed, purchased medication for emergency inpatient use, checked expiration date of medicines in the pharmacy and emergency carts, monitored the flow of the items (fast and slow moving), released vaccines and biologicals according to the standard, assisted in preparing and dispensing medications to PLHIV, and handled pharmacy department (officer-in-charge).
