JUSTY TUQUIB

I am Justy P. Tuquib, an English and literature teacher and a Doctor of Education major in English
Language Teaching graduate from the Philippines. I graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in English and Literature with a teaching license for both secondary and elementary levels. I have been an English and Literature teacher since 2015. As an English teacher, I have already taught academic and professional writing, academic reading, oral communication, creative writing, and other English-related courses. Aside from that, I have served various positions like being a chairman in English core subjects drafting curriculum outline and syllabi. I was once a program research coordinator in our university, adviser of the English Club, and the coach/adviser of the debating club in our university as well. With all these experiences, I have consistently received an Excellent Rating from my students ever since.Aside from teaching, I have worked also as an elementary tutor under a tutorial company since 2020. I am a language researcher doing both qualitative and quantitative designs that allowed me to travel ASEAN countries like Thailand and Malaysia presenting my studies about English
language teaching. I am a champion in debate, oration, extemporaneous speaking, and a lecturer
in review centers. My teaching license in the Philippines covers both teaching elementary students and secondary
students. With more than 6 years of teaching experience, I have already learned how to adjust my
pedagogies depending to what type of learners I have. Such experience allowed me also to meet
different students from different backgrounds and culture.
