Lance Pagtakhan

I am Myrone Lance O. Pagtakhan, a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from LPU-St. Cabrini School of Health Sciences in Laguna, Philippines. Throughout my studies, I completed over 3,800 hours of clinical preceptorship, gaining hands-on experience in a wide range of nursing fields. My clinical rotations included pediatrics, community nursing, obstetrics, psychiatric nursing, medical-surgical, geriatrics, emergency care, intensive care, and orthopedics, which allowed me to develop a comprehensive skill set in patient care.

I am proficient in vital signs monitoring, wound care, patient assessment, and medication administration, as well as various essential nursing procedures like NGT insertion, IV therapy, and catheterization. I hold certifications in CPR and BLS from the American Heart Association, have completed a Nursing Competency Enhancement Program, and am trained in practicing COVID-19 measures in the workplace.

In addition to my clinical experience, I’ve had the opportunity to volunteer in medical missions at the Tanauan City Health Office, where I assisted in circumcision procedures and performed pre- and post-operation tasks. I also served as a medic volunteer during mass gatherings and rallies, providing emergency care and working closely with other volunteers to ensure participant safety.

During my time at LPU-St. Cabrini, I was an active member of the Supreme Student Council, where I gained experience in logistics, budgeting, and event planning. My technical skills include advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, and other software tools. I am fluent in both English and Filipino, and I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills in a nursing assistant role, where I can continue to provide compassionate and effective patient care.

The education and skills I acquired have prepared me to effectively contribute to the healthcare field.
