Lawrence Barcelona Jr

Hello, I'm Lawrence A. Barcelona Jr. I'm 25 years old, and teaching is my profession, but I’m currently working as a Technical Support in the government of General Santos City. I have a deep passion for technology. Every day, I strive to improve my work and utilize technology in my interests, which has always been a driving force in my life. Whether I'm a teacher, a technical support specialist, or simply a gamer, I find immense joy in exploring and learning new things.

In addition to my personal pursuits, I've also had the opportunity to travel within my region to evaluate the local government units based on given criteria. This required a lot of effort and time investment. This experience taught me that there are many things that can be improved to make the community more resilient and resourceful in times of disaster. It also helped me develop skills in handling paperwork efficiently, shaping the way I approach challenges and opportunities.

Outside of my professional and academic life, I enjoy gaming and cherish spending quality time with my family, who mean the world to me. I firmly believe in destiny, that what's meant for you will come to you, and I strive to believe that the impossible can become possible in my own unique way.

I had a contract as a Learning Support Aid (LSA) in 2019 during the COVID pandemic. I worked as a teacher for six months, supporting the teachers on a daily basis. My duties included sorting papers, managing the classroom, teaching students via Zoom, and grading their work.

After the contract, I started working as a Technical Support in 2022, where I am currently employed. In this role, I assist my superiors in their field by helping with paperwork, coordinating activities, and addressing technical issues

My most significant education achievement is my Bachelor of Secondary Education degree, with a major in Social Studies. This foundational education has equipped me with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel as a teacher in the field of social studies. It has not only provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter but also honed my teaching abilities, enabling me to effectively educate and inspire students in this critical area of study
