Ma. Cecilia Tuquib

I am Cecilia and a mother of two adults (24 year old boy and 22 year old girl). I have been working since 1996 as a Technical/Laboratory Analyst of a Water Treatment Company that deals with water treatment chemicals for boilers and cooling towers and also water treatment facility like reverse osmosis and waste water treatment.  I spent 9 years as Chemical Information Analyst of a Data Processing Company, where we were working with Derwent for making an abstract of a Patent, particularly gathering data from a specific patent (chemical, mechanical, organic, inorganic, pharmaceuticals, and etc.) to make a concise copy of it. I was a Plant Manager of Mister Donut Philippines for only 6 months as this time my marriage was on the rock. Then, we flew from Cebu City to Olongapo City due to family issues (separation) where I landed a job at Printing Images, a remanufacturing company as Research and Development Analyst. We developed processes for cleaning cartridges for remanufacturing and also reformulated a compatible ink for a particular cartridge (e.g. HP 21). As I regain my momentum in working, I needed to upgrade which leads me to be a Senior Plant Supervisor of a Decorative Concrete Solution Company. I was in charge of almost everything as I was assigned in Subic. I processed everything from business permit, manpower, production, raw materials, gathering of suppliers, maintaining product quality, shipment for local and international customers, till processing of gate pass since SBMA (Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority) has its own rules to govern with.  

The reason why my experiences were variable is due to personal reasons, specifically family. But now I am going to start a new experience that will help me excel and transform my capabilities to be productive and beneficial.

I was working as a Technical/Laboratory Analyst at Mactan Rock Industries Inc. I was in charge in the water analysis of water sample from boilers or cooling towers as part of the maintenance for water treatment chemicals we supplied to a particular plant. I also supervised projects, like boiler, cooling tower, or water tank cleaning or descaling to monitor the cleaning process. I was a Chemical Information Analyst of Innodata XML Content Factory Inc. The client we were working on was Derwent from London. I was assigned to gather data from a worldwide patent and make a concise abstract. I was a Plant Manager of Mister Donut Philippines. I was in charge of the whole plant, particularly the production process, shipping of products everyday. I managed to upgrade the quality of the plant in a matter of 3 months. I was a Research and Development Chemist at Printing Images Ctc. Inc. We developed cleaning process for cleaning cartridges and reformulated compatible inks . I was then a Senior Plant Supervisor at Bomanite SE Asia Pte. Ltd. I was in charge of almost everything as I was assigned in Subic. I processed everything from the business permit, manpower, production, raw materials, gathering suppliers, quality of the product, shipping for international customers, till processing of gate pass since SBMA (Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority) has its own rules to govern with.   

I graduated Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering last October 1995 at Cebu Institute of Technology University, Cebu City, Philippines.
