A. Conduct and perform scheduled preventive maintenance (daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annually).
• Checking of all electrical and electronic apparatus boxes such as SIV unit, battery control unit, VVF unit, HSCB control unit, Compressor Motor control unit, compressor unit, BOU control unit, and Filter Capacitor control unit. Also includes braking components, brake caliper, interior lighting, etc.
• Checking and visual inspection of any signs of a defect in underframe parts. Replace if found defective.
• Check brake shoe, compressor oil, air filter, oil filter, and leveling valve, purging all air tanks underframe of the train. Check and visual inspection of coupler terminals, bogie and gearbox assembly.
• Checking and visual inspection of pantograph appearances, checking and calibration of spring tensions, retorquing of bolt tightness on pantograph assembly, and cleaning of ball insulators. Lubrication of all moving mechanical parts of a pantograph and pantograph motor. Cleaning and checking of surge arrester and pantograph control box.
• Conduct maintenance and measurement of wheels, brake shoe, battery supply, and Current Return Device. Measure of starting and running current of motors.
• Check train interior lighting, train headlight, tail lights, and dimmers lamp in the driver's cab. Replace if found defective. Check the train coupler function, compressor function, ACU unit function, SIV function, VVF function, braking function, and fire alarm system shown in the train monitoring system, during daily functional activities.
• Checking and functional testing of all train doors. Replace if found defective. Checking of propulsion and braking systems, horns, signals, and microphones. Checking of train monitoring systems of VVF, BOU, ACU system, and fire alarms including pneumatic

B. Conduct and Perform Corrective Maintenance
• Perform troubleshooting/repair at the mainline during train commercial operations to prevent any delays or obstructions on other train commercial operations.
• Replace defective spare parts shown on Train Monitoring System such as door module, door control unit, master controller, SIV and VVF control rack, compressor filters, HSCB spare parts, CMCU relays, and other parts specified by the train monitoring system.
