Raven Jade Pilar

A detail-oriented fresh graduate from Philippine Women’s University with hands-on experience at MMC Diagnostics and Medical Center and Manila Doctors Hospital. My journey has shaped me into a resilient individual, committed to excellence and passionate about contributing to patient care through accurate laboratory work. During my internship, I developed a strong foundation in laboratory procedures, which enhanced my critical thinking and problem-solving skills even as a student. Throughout my academic journey, I also served as a student leader for my program, honing my organizational and communication skills as Secretary and Auditor of the Medical Technology Executive Committee. I am now eager to begin my professional career in an organization where I can apply my knowledge and skills, continue learning, and make meaningful contributions to the team.

I have gained a valuable hands-on experience through my internships at MMC Diagnostic and Medical Center and Manila Doctors Hospital. These allowed me to assist and perform laboratory tests, diagnostic procedures, apply theoretical knowledge in real-world setting, and even knowledge and techniques that were not discussed or taught in school settings. I have developed a strong foundation in basic techniques in laboratory practices, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols. These roles also have a fast-paced environments which honed my critical thinking skills, time management, and adaptability which are essential in every workplace. 

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology degree from the Philippine Women's University (2019-2025), where I developed my foundation in clinical laboratory science techniques and medical research. I also had a position in my program's Executive Committee as a Secretary (A.Y. 2023-2024) and Auditor (2019-2020), which strengthened by organizational and communication skills. Prior to university, I completed both Primary and Secondary (Junior High School to Senior High School) at San Sebastian College Recoletos de Cavite, where I also had a position in the Recollect Augustinian Youth as a Vice President (2016-2017) and Treasurer (2017-2018), which shaped my sense of responsibility and teamwork.
