- Responsible for preparation of financial statements, budgets, reports and presentation of the same to management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable on a regular basis.
- Lead the preparation and filing of tax returns, including DST, withholding tax, Percentage tax and corporate income tax. Alignment with management is a must.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, and prepare necessary supporting documents.
- Prepare and ensure 100% requirements for possible BIR Audit
- Ensure mapping & communication of Tax exposure with management on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the reconciliation of payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement by the outsourced service provider.
- Monitor invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Prepare billing statements and follow up on outstanding receivables not related to core lending activities of ProCredit.
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required documentation including but not limited to
- Annual audited financial statements

- Loan book keeping
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC and DOLE) and tax obligations.

- Ensure deadlines for payment of DST, WHT, Percentage Tax and ITR are strictly adhered to.
- Ensure that all regulatory contributions documentation is maintained on a monthly basis
- Ensure that BIR of accounts invoices and any other documentation is maintained issued on a at least weekly real time basis
- Collaborate with other departments specifically - risk and credit for crucial inputs in financials
- Coordinate feedback and inputs from external tax and accounting consultants with management for implementation on an ongoing basis
- Act as first point of contact with external auditors and ensure clear and accurate data sharing
- Close oversight and where required population of monthly trial balance and accounting entries
- Creation, verification and sign off on monthly tax filing
- Close oversight of monthly service invoices creation and reconciliation with consultant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
- CPA preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of Philippine tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
