    Job Description :

    As a Vice President in Funds Services, you will be responsible in meeting and exceeding the key performance indicators of the Fund Servicing/ Fund Accounting process. The Vice President is also expected to the drive the team to meet and exceed client service level agreements and expectations. The role involves people management, coaching and development, escalation/issue management, process improvement, project management, and transactional reviews, and will mainly focus on leading a global team, managing people and issues, improving processes, and handling high-value transactions.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide coaching and feedback to managers, team leaders and team members and ensure all key performance indicators are exceeded.
    • Conduct annual performance reviews.
    • Handle and resolve escalations from external and internal parties.
    • Perform primary and secondary reviews including high value transactions processed instructions by the team.
    • Act as the team's point of escalation and liaise with various internal teams such as Fund Accounting, Trades, Futures, FFX, Income Accounting, COACS, Managed Funds, Global Derivatives, OSD, and CSM to ensure exceptions, breaks, and any client impacting issues are resolved timely.
    • Manage issues and exceptions above materiality thresholds for resolution, utilizing strong understanding of Risk Management
    • Review and implement control changes to ensure operational risks are mitigated.
    • Manage escalations of team issues
    • Attend and drive internal onshore partner meetings to ensure needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded ensure resolution of follow up items.
    • Participate on client calls as necessary to understand requirements and change requests and ensure accurate and timely implementation within the team.
    • Lead process improvement and automation projects within the team. Ensure learning and development needs of the team are assessed and bridged accordingly.

    Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

    • Subject matter expertise in fund accounting or strong financial markets product knowledge
    • 12+ years of financial services industry experience, coupled with tenure in operations management roles and with experience of managing large teams
    • Experience of tracking to a finance and headcount plan
    • Experience of managing out-sourced and off-shored functions
    • Must be a confident leader -- possessing a strength of personality and intellect to gain the respect of demanding stakeholders and partners
    • Must have a collaborative and participative management style. Professionalism, sensitivity, discretion and sound decision-making skills allied with the ability to interact at senior level are essential
    • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment, prioritizing and multitasking well under pressure
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills -- as well as superior influencing and relationship management skills
    • Seasoned manager with extensive product knowledge, function expertise or proven leadership skills
    • Strong analytical skills and controls focus
