    Position: Customer Care Specialist

    Your Role:

    • Catering to inbound and outbound calls.
    • Answering incoming phone calls and faxes, taking customers' orders for durable medical and respiratory equipment, repairs, supplies, and other miscellaneous items.
    • Responding to patient/client questions and problems.
    • Service walk-in customers as needed.
    • Preparing intake, gathering all necessary information about referral, patient demographics, contact person, physician, diagnosis, discharge time and place, item(s) requested.
    • Gathering all necessary documentation, before delivery CMN, Rx, ABG, Care Plan, Auth, etc.
    • Verifying medical necessity with a physician.
    • Verifying eligibility and coverage with Insurance and carrier according to guidelines or contract.
    • Verifying payer (with matrix), obtaining authorization, expiration date.
    • Verifying patient demographics and prior equipment usage with the patient.
    • Informing patient of financial responsibilities: copay, share of cost, deductible, etc.
    • Entering data and each order (new or otherwise) in the system accurately and promptly.

    Requirements:

    • At least 1 year of customer service experience.
    • Good Communication Skills.
    • Preferably CSR in Healthcare industry background.
    • Willing to work in-center, Night shift schedule.

    Preferred Skills/Expertise:

    • Previous experience in Customer Service in the Healthcare Industry.
