A Marketing Assistant provides administrative and creative support to marketing teams, assisting with campaigns, social media, event planning, and data analysis to drive brand growth. Key duties include crafting content, updating CRM databases, monitoring analytics, and coordinating promotional materials. They are typically entry-level roles requiring strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns (digital, social media, email).
Content Creation: Write, edit, and post content for blogs, newsletters, and social media platforms.
Data Analysis: Monitor, track, and report on campaign performance, social media analytics, and buying trends.
Administrative Tasks: Maintain marketing databases, CRM systems, mailing lists, and inventory of promotional materials.
Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of trade shows, webinars, and promotional events.
Research: Conduct market research to understand target audiences, competitor activities, and industry trends
Qualifications/Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication for content creation and team collaboration.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.), email marketing tools, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Software Familiarity: Experience with CMS (WordPress) and CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot) is often preferred.
Organization: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail.
