Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring excellent customer experience, efficient staff management, financial control, and compliance with company standards. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage both front-of-house and back-of-house coordination while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesA. Operations Management
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, service standards, and company policies
- Monitor opening and closing procedures
- Coordinate FOH and BOH operations to maintain service flow
B. Staff Supervision & Leadership
- Supervise, schedule, and manage FOH and BOH staff
- Lead, coach, and discipline team members in accordance with company policies
- Conduct daily briefings and ensure staff readiness
- Identify high-performing staff and potential leaders
C. Customer Experience & Service Recovery
- Ensure consistent, high-quality guest experience
- Handle escalated customer complaints professionally and promptly
- Implement service recovery solutions when necessary
- Monitor customer feedback and identify improvement areas
D. Inventory, Cost Control & Sales
- Monitor inventory levels, ordering, and proper stock handling
- Assist in controlling food cost, labor cost, and operational expenses
- Coordinate with the kitchen on portion control and wastage reduction
- Support sales initiatives, promotions, and upselling strategies
E. Administrative & Reporting Duties
- Prepare daily shift reports and operational summaries
- Monitor attendance, tardiness, and staff performance
- Submit required reports to management (sales, incidents, staffing concerns)
- Ensure accurate documentation of incidents, disciplinary actions, and feedback
F. Compliance, Safety & Cleanliness
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the restaurant at all times
- Enforce safety protocols and workplace discipline
- Address safety hazards and report incidents immediately
G. Leadership Standards & Professional Conduct
- Lead by example in attendance, attitude, and professionalism
- Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information
- Act as a representative of management during assigned shifts
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a respectful workplace culture
Performance Standards
Performance will be evaluated based on:
- Operational efficiency and service quality
- Staff performance, retention, and discipline
- Customer satisfaction and complaint resolution
- Cost control and inventory management
- Reliability, leadership, and decision-making
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Supervisor, at least 1 year
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, FOH & BOH workflows
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
