Job Description

Next Health Diagnostics is seeking a skilled and dedicated 2D Echo Technician to join our dynamic team. As a 2D Echo Technician, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare services by conducting high-quality echocardiograms to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in echocardiography and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D echocardiograms and Doppler studies on patients as ordered by physicians.
• Set up and operate echocardiography equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate recordings.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to obtain necessary information for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Evaluate, analyze, and interpret echocardiographic data to provide accurate and comprehensive reports to physicians.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting procedure information and results.
• Assist in the calibration and maintenance of echocardiography equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay current with advancements in echocardiography technology and techniques through continuous education and professional development.
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or a related field.
• Certified Echocardiography Technician (CET) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential.
• Previous experience as a 2D Echo Technician in a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Proficient in operating echocardiography equipment and related technology.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate and reliable results.
