- Perform SAP Basis Administration activities including installation, configuration and maintenance of multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, test, acceptance, and production)
- Introduce technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability/availability
- Design and implement an optimal SAP configuration to maximize system performance and availability
- Maintain SAP performance by planning and executing SAP tuning strategies
- Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades
- Apply and migrate SAP maintenance through all systems using a structured methodology
- Responsible to ensure platform operation procedure and operation control execution being in line with information security baseline
- Document SAP processes, procedures, and plans including changes, upgrades, and new services
- 5-10+ years of SAP Basis administration experience, preferably with S/4 HANA work experience
- Proficiency in SAP system performance tuning and troubleshooting
- At least 5 years' experience in monitoring and troubleshooting of HANA and Oracle databases running on Linux platform
- Experience in high availability, disaster recovery, system refreshes and backup mechanisms
- Experience with SAP system upgrades, patches, and installations
- Ability to take ownership of work activities and complete in a timely and efficient manner
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical multi-functional teams spread across regions
- Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to details
- Good interpersonal skills, inclusive mindset, and a critical thinker
- Willing to work in non-office hours and public holiday (supported under firm's compensation policy)
- Relevant SAP certification is an advantage
