About the role
BENSON INDUSTRIAL COLD STORAGE INC. is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their team in Paranaque City Metro Manila. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting the accounting operations of the company.
What you'll be doing
- Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation
- Reconcile bank statements and perform other reconciliation tasks
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies
What we're looking for
- Relevant degree in Accounting or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
