- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate closing of books in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Present financial performance reports to senior management with actionable insights.
- Monitor financial KPIs such as gross margin, sell-through rates, inventory turnover, and operating expenses.
- Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
- Monitor budget utilization across retail stores and head office operations.
- Provide financial projections based on seasonal sales trends and product launches.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee inventory accounting, costing, markdown management, and shrinkage analysis.
- Ensure proper reconciliation between POS systems and accounting records.
- Monitor stock aging, slow-moving items, and obsolescence provisions.
- Support merchandising and operations teams with financial insights.
- Manage working capital, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for financing requirements.
- Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and other statutory requirements.
- Oversee tax filings (VAT, withholding taxes, income tax) and external audits.
- Maintain strong internal controls and risk management procedures.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting and finance team.
- Improve financial systems, reporting tools, and internal processes.
- Collaborate with Retail Operations, Merchandising, and Supply Chain teams to drive profitability.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance.
- At least 5–8 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in inventory management and multi-branch operations is highly desirable.
- Proficient in ERP systems and retail POS integration.
