    CAD Designer, be 100% YOU with MicroSourcing

    A CAD Designer is expected to perform the following tasks:
    • Collaborate with other designers and engineers on design, best practices, and process improvements.
    • Create sketches, renderings, and prototypes to bring products from concept to creation.
    • Utilize SolidWorks surface and solid modeling techniques to create designs that fit IE's aesthetic.
    • Create and maintain a bill of materials for new and existing products.
    • Develop projects in a timely manner and meet milestone deadlines.
    • Work with fellow designers and engineers to ensure that designs are functional, reliable, and manufacturable.
    • Engage in continuous improvement activities for products and processes.
    • Design packaging for products to ensure that they are well-protected during transportation and that we deliver a high-quality unboxing experience to customers.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    What it takes to be part of our team:
    • 2-4 years experience in consumer product design.
    • 2-4 years experience with SolidWorks.
    • Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturing principles
    • Proficient with organic and solid modeling techniques
    • Fluent in verbal and written English
    • Good attitude at all times

    • Problem-solving: root cause analysis and corrective action
    • Flexible and adaptable to frequent change
    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups such as engineering, sales, warehouse, etc.
    Notes:

    Candidates MUST submit some sample works using SolidWorks
    Schedule: night shift
    Work setup: WFH
