Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Ortigas, Pasig, PH

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM PH Time (Hybrid | 3x Onsite, 2x WFH)

Role Overview

The Financial Controller will take full ownership of financial control, statutory compliance, ERP governance, and operational finance management across the Group. This is a highly hands-on, execution-driven role requiring a disciplined operator capable of establishing and maintaining rigorous financial controls within a multi-entity healthcare environment.

The role is responsible for ensuring accurate consolidated reporting, strong cash governance, compliant statutory lodgements, and disciplined financial processes across all clinics.

Core Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Ledger Control

• Prepare and finalise monthly consolidated management accounts across all entities.
• Maintain full general ledger integrity, including balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ensure practice-level revenue accuracy, cost classification and EBITDA normalisation discipline.
• Oversee month-end close process across all clinics.
• Maintain accurate tracking of practice-level performance versus forecast.
• Prepare board-ready monthly reporting packs.

2. Dental Service Fee Calculations & Practice Accounting

• Calculate and verify Dental Service Provider service fee arrangements in accordance with Facility and Services Agreements.
• Prepare and issue service fee invoices to dental entities.
• Validate revenue splits and ensure correct allocation.
• Monitor collections and reconcile clinic bank deposits against reported production.
• Oversee practice-level laboratory fee allocations and cost treatment to prevent EBITDA distortion.
• Ensure correct treatment of contractor payments and principal entitlements.

3. Payments & Banking Operations

• Process supplier payments, contractor payments and payroll disbursements.
• Upload and authorise payment batches to banking platforms.
• Maintain daily cash position reporting.
• Reconcile bank accounts across all entities weekly.
• Monitor PAYG withholding, GST and superannuation liabilities to prevent arrears.

4. Statutory Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB).
• Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, payroll tax and superannuation obligations on time.
• Coordinate corporate tax compliance and annual financial statements.
• Maintain Corporations Act compliance across all entities.
• Coordinate external audit processes and provide full audit-ready working papers.

5. Systems & NetSuite ERP Governance (Mandatory Experience)

• Lead administration and configuration of NetSuite ERP.
• Establish structured chart of accounts across all clinics.
• Implement standardized reporting templates within NetSuite.
• Ensure accurate migration and integration of newly acquired clinics into Group systems.
• Maintain tight user access controls and approval workflows.

6. Acquisition & Integration Support

• Support financial due diligence for practice acquisitions.
• Validate historical financial performance and normalization adjustments.
• Integrate acquired practices into Group accounting, payroll and reporting systems.
• Ensure seamless onboarding of new clinics into consolidated reporting.

7. Finance Function Oversight

• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processing.
• Establish structured financial policies and approval thresholds.
• Implement documented internal control procedures across all entities.
• Ensure all accounting files remain fully reconciled and current at all times.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification (mandatory).
• Minimum 7+ years' Australian accounting experience.
• Demonstrated hands-on NetSuite ERP experience (mandatory).
• Strong technical expertise in Australian tax, GST, payroll tax, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven experience managing multi-entity, multi-site operations.
• Advanced consolidation and group reporting capability.
• Healthcare, dental, or service-based industry experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to establish financial systems and implement process improvements.
• Strong leadership capability with experience supervising finance teams.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Strong understanding of clinic-level reporting and doctor disbursement calculations.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and commercial acumen.
