    The Role

    As our Romance Story Developmental Writer, you'll create engaging outlines for contemporary romance novels and offer developmental insights on full novel outlines. This creative position is ideal for someone passionate about the contemporary romance genre, who knows its core elements and how to spark romantic tension right from the start.

    What You'll Do

    • Outline Creation: Craft original 1-3 page outlines for contemporary romance novels.
    • Developmental Outlining: Deliver detailed developmental feedback on complete romance novel outlines to strengthen character growth, plot flow, and romantic payoff.
    • Developmental Editing: Review manuscripts to identify and implement developmental improvements.
    • High-Volume Production: Produce work quickly to hit daily targets while keeping stories top-notch.

    What We're Looking For

    • Experience in outlining contemporary romance stories.
    • Solid grasp of contemporary romance: common tropes, essential beats, and reader fantasies.
    • Self-motivated with reliable daily output.
    • Genuine passion for romance stories and their structure.
