Duties and responsibilities

• Perform all electrical installation, factory equipment repair/maintenance such as air compressor system, Vacuum system etc... and other projects that will require his expertise.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs of machines, equipment, buildings and installed systems to include: plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC
• Conducts regular routine inspection of the factory.
• Directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
• Installation of machineries and equipment
• Responsible for the repair and rehabilitation to include troubleshooting of major and minor production machineries and facilities
• Responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of common facilities and machineries.
• Safekeeping of section's tools, apparatus, equipment and workshop machineries.
• Responsible for fabrication and related workshop request.
• Housekeeping of areas under responsibilities.
• Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
• Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
• Performs welding, carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.
• Operate, monitor and maintain machines and production equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Competencies

• Graduate of any two-year course related in Mechanical (Mechanical Technology, Automotive Technology, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, etc.)
• Has knowledge and skill in electrical and mechanical systems and standards.
• Have basic understanding related to machine maintenance.
• Has good analytical skills and very keen on details.
• Can work with minimal supervision and willing to work on shifting schedules, holidays and weekends.
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.
