Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients including recording transactions reconciling accounts and managing ledgers
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements reports ensuring accuracy compliance with accounting standards
- Reconcile bank statements credit card statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy identify discrepancies
- Oversee payroll processing calculating recording payroll transactions ensuring compliance with relevant laws regulations
- Manage accounts payable receivable processing invoices payments collectionsAssist in tax returns provide support during tax auditsEnsure compliance local state federal regulations stay updated changes accounting standards practicesTrain junior bookkeepers providing guidance support enhance their development
