TOOL & CUTTER GRINDER

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC and conventional machines such as lathe, milling, cylindrical grinding, surface grind, monosets and laser marking.
• Perform fabrication of tools and fixtures to specified drawings.
• Perform simple to complex welding as required.
• Perform complete fabrication of complex assembly fixtures.
• Perform crush roll refurbishing using optical comparators, microscope, toolmakers scope and other measuring instruments or gages as required.
• Perform precision set ups & operations to fabricate, alter or repair a wide variety of cutting tools, gages, and fixtures including repairs of machines parts.
• Perform rework operations of production parts with complex features and set ups using conventional machines.
• Perform fabrication of EDM electrodes for production use using special cutters, surface grind machine.
• Perform inspection of assembly fixtures using microhite, calipers, air gages, and other measuring instruments applying GD&T principles and standards.
• Maintain and monitors tooling and hardware utilization for production and manufacturing purposes through computerized tracking of work orders.
  
  

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:

Completed 3 years in Engineering with Machine Shop Vocational Course or Graduate of 3 years Technical Course (Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Technology) with

Five Years experience in Tool Cutter Grind
