    **Job Title: IT Support Specialist**

    We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in supporting internal staff and external clients with computer systems, networks, and software applications.

    This position requires a strong technical aptitude, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality support services.

    Responsibilities:

    • First-Level Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to end users via email, phone, or in-person
    • Troubleshoot Hardware and Software Issues: Diagnose and resolve issues for Windows PCs, Macs, smartphones, tablets, and printers
    • Software Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating system images
    • Network Equipment Administration: Configure and administer network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
    • Backup and Recovery Procedures: Perform backup and recovery procedures for servers and desktops
    • User Training: Train end users on how to use software applications and basic computing concepts
    • Emergency Response: Participate in after-hours on-call rotation for emergency response to critical issues

    Requirements:

    • Educational Background: Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field OR significant prior experience working in IT support
    • Networking Knowledge: Knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and standards
    • Credentials: Knowledge in SAML, Oauth2 or OpenConnect
    • Enterprise Software Familiarity: Familiarity with enterprise software suites such as Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce, and Google G Suite
    • Identity Service/SAML: Knowledge on identity service / SSO like OKTA, Keycloak, Amazon Webservices etc...
    • Virtualization Technologies: Working knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere and Hyper-V. Worked on platform like Azure and virtual Microsoft setups
    • Directory Services: Knowledge Azure AD/Active Directory
    • Programming Knowledge: Programming Knowledge is a plus: Languages such as C++, Python, HTML, CSS, PHP
