Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, process transactions accurately, and help maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Accurately scan, process, and bag customer purchases
- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods
- Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges according to company policy
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer throughout the shift
- Answer customer questions and resolve basic concerns
- Keep checkout areas clean and stocked with supplies
- Follow company policies and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
