Breeder Flock Operations
- Supervise daily breeder farm activities including feeding, watering, lighting programs, nest management, egg collection, and mating control.
- Ensure compliance with breeder-specific SOPs, animal welfare standards, and strict biosecurity protocols.
- Monitor house conditions and adjust environmental controls to support breeder performance.
Production & Performance Monitoring
- Track and evaluate key breeder KPIs such as egg production, fertility, hatchability, mortality, and flock body uniformity.
- Ensure accurate recording and reporting of production data and farm activities.
- Identify performance deviations and recommend or implement corrective actions.
Health & Biosecurity
- Implement vaccination, medication, and health programs as directed by veterinarians.
- Observe birds for signs of stress or disease and escalate issues immediately.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation, disinfection, and farm biosecurity.
People & Farm Management
- Lead, train, and supervise farm staff; assign duties and monitor performance.
- Enforce discipline, safety policies, and company rules on-site.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of farm equipment and facilities.
Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate with hatchery, veterinary, and technical teams to support breeder performance.
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in poultry operations, preferably breeder farms, with supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of breeder management, biosecurity, and poultry health.
- Willing to work on-site and on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.
