    Role Purpose:

    We are seeking a dynamic Research Team Lead to manage and develop the team of Researchers in a global and fast-moving organisation. As part of your role, you will also be required to demonstrate excellence in research delivery and ensure the team has adequate training and support will be critical to consistently delivering outstanding results.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead, develop, and dynamically manage the Research team in Manila. Embed a supportive culture of collaboration, trust, excellence, and quality within the team.
    • Actively participate in the delivery of research for search assignments.
    • In conjunction with the Practice leads, oversee the smooth movement of roles through the system, ensuring the optimum levels of quality, capacity utilisation, and balancing of workload.
    • Inspire the team to take pride in their work and strive for consistently outstanding research and quality outputs, champion a growth culture within the team.
    • Ensure the team has the necessary skills and training to deliver consistently outstanding results.
    • Keep abreast of new technology/research methodologies and processes to optimise efficiency and support the company's growth. Innovate where possible to ensure we remain at the cutting edge for our clients, candidates, and team, embracing automation and AI developments for greater efficiency.
    • Supervise, direct and mentor researchers to produce the highest quality of research output.
    • Promote development within the team.
    • Support the team/troubleshoot where necessary on systems/process issues. Intervene and act where necessary on critical issues affecting quality, capacity utilisation, workload balancing and high-performance.
    • Performance management: ongoing development of the team through the performance manage system; conduct annual performance management reviews.
    • Drive retention of all data by the efficient and effective use of Invenias and other platforms.
    • Support ad hoc projects as necessary.

    Required Experience and Skills:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in conducting full cycle executive search research and ideally with 3 years of experience managing a team (preferably remotely).
    • A clear understanding of the research process, excellent research skills, and sectoral experience an advantage
    • Experience in performance management, developing and training a team.
    • Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment, managing multiple priorities while delivering quality results.
    • Experience communicating directly with senior business executives.
    • Confidence to 'manage up.'
    • Strong management and effective time and people management skills.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • The successful candidate will be action-oriented and accustomed to working to hard deadlines.
    • Ability to establish priorities, manage deadlines and exercise a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of stakeholders.
    • Ability to be proactive, take the initiative, follow up and follow through on all areas of responsibility, anticipate business needs, and plan accordingly.
    • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
    • Excellent IT skills. Proficient knowledge of recruitment platforms
    • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
    • Experience working in an international and globally dispersed organisation (NGO, Civil Society, or Governmental entities is an advantage.)
