Heavy Equipment Technician – Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues
- Conduct regular inspections and report equipment condition
- Repair or replace defective parts using approved procedures
- Maintain service records and maintenance reports
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Coordinate with operators and supervisors on equipment issues
- Support equipment commissioning and site mobilization
Qualifications:
- Technical/Vocational graduate in Mechanical or related field
- With experience in maintaining heavy equipment (e.g. excavators, bulldozers, loaders, cranes)
- NC II or equivalent certification is an advantage
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in site conditions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
