- Work Location & Schedule: Rockwell | 8:00 to 5:00 pm (hybrid 3x a week onsite)
- Assist in maintaining and refining the product backlog for insurance systems, including policy administration, claims processing, customer portals, and integrations
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear user stories with acceptance criteria
- Support backlog prioritization based on business value, compliance needs, and operational impact
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives
- Assist in reviewing completed features to ensure they meet acceptance criteria and operational standards
- Help identify risks, dependencies, and gaps that may impact delivery
- Work with Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Sales, and IT teams to gather and clarify requirements
- Help communicate priorities, timelines, and system limitations in clear, practical terms
- Continuous Improvement
- Support initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce manual processing, and enhance customer experience
- Assist in documenting processes and system enhancements to ensure alignment across teams
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Kanban
- Strong skills in user story writing and backlog management
- Hands-on experience with Jira
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear, actionable system requirements
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Exposure to insurance or other regulated industries
- Experience with system integrations or APIs
