As we continue to expand across physical and digital channels, we are looking for a highly skilled Financial Controller to strengthen our financial operations and support strategic decision-making.

    Role Overview

    The Financial Controller will oversee the company's financial health, drive financial planning and reporting, and ensure strong internal controls across retail, e-commerce, and production operations. This role will work closely with senior leadership to guide financial strategy, optimize profitability, and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Financial Management & Reporting

    • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with PH GAAP and company standards.
    • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across all departments.
    • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability.
    • Oversee cost accounting for retail, inventory, and production processes.

    Internal Controls & Compliance

    • Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with BIR regulations, local tax laws, and audit requirements.
    • Coordinate internal and external audits; address audit findings promptly.

    Operational Finance

    • Oversee inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, shrinkage analysis, and costing.
    • Implement financial tracking for retail store performance, e-commerce revenue, and marketing ROI.
    • Support optimization of supply chain, cost of goods sold (COGS), and logistics expenses.

    Leadership & Collaboration

    • Manage and mentor the accounting and finance team.
    • Partner with the CEO, Operations, Retail, and Merchandising teams to enable data-driven decision-making.
    • Provide strategic financial insights for expansion, product launches, and capital expenditures.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
    • Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, ideally in:
    • Fashion retail
    • FMCG
    • Manufacturing
    • Multi-branch or multi-channel businesses
    • Strong knowledge of PH taxation, BIR compliance, and financial reporting.
    • Proficient in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
    • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
    • High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
