- Interface: Coordinating and mediating between Sales team, Medical Affairs team, Indirect Purchase team, new product development team and other relevant stakeholders for promoting the business division and mission of achieving the objectives of the organization.
- Analyzing market data: Track, analyze and report on the impact of all team activities and promotional interventions. Make ways to better engage with prospective customers to put the division and organization with a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
- Budget allocation: Ensure proper allocation of budgets for campaigns, product promotions and other interventions. Work collaboratively in sync with the purchase department and ensure cost effectiveness and ROI for every intervention and action.
- Decision making: Validate with the Medical Affairs team content, insights, designing and artwork of the promotional material, inputs, product packs and other relevant material. Coordinate with cross functional teams with respect to prints, campaigns, initiatives etc. Decisions pertaining to team selection and development.
- Product Promotion: Promote products and brands with the objective of meeting Business Division and Organization mission and goals. Think long term and prepare roadmap for the division's future.
- Analytical Ability: Should demonstrate strong analytical abilities in terms of identifying trends, patterns, proactive thinking, and data-based decision making.
- Through demonstrated examples and attitude of behavior, develop an effective, cooperative and supportive team to develop the business.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and direction to his/her staff on agreed key performance indicators.
- Develop and maintain high level business partnership with the medical and pharmaceutical fraternity in general; maintain a reciprocal business relationship with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or any related field
- At least 3-5 years' Marketing experience in Pharmaceutical Industry
- Preferably with experience in handling Senior Product Management position
- Knowledge of the principles and techniques of sales and marketing management including planning, budgeting, and reporting
- Knowledge of official planning and management
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry marketing trends
- Must have good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Must be strategic thinker and should have intuitive financial abilities
- Ability to plan, direct, and coordinate program for sales and marketing activities of a complex, interrelated and interdependent nature, where unknowns and numerous contingency factors are involved
