    JOB DESCRIPTION

    MARKETING PLANNING:
    Directs and supervise annual and strategic marketing planning geared at setting targets for volume grwowth and market share specifically.
    Prepares, recommends for approval marketing plans within precribed guidelines and format
    Prepares and submits for approval promotions and advertising budget.
    Creates approriate advertising and promotional campaigns
    Oversees current business undertakings in advertising and promotional activities
    Plans for proper implementation of effective product targeting, positioning and profiling
    Determines strengths and weaknesses of promotional areas and recommend ways to improve performance
    Analyzes market situation, changes, and factors contributing to situation which may affect company objectives
    Ensures that promotion and advertising are carried out according to customer potentials and needs

    MARKETING PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT:
    Takes charge of developing viable marketing plans and programs. Specifically
    Plans for and offers competitive pricing
    Conceptualizes and implements tailor-fited promotional efforts for all brands
    Provides direction for the development of marketing work programs

    MARKETING PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION
    Ensures that marketing staff understand product/promotion programs and possess know how for implementation, specifically,
    conducts trade checks to monitor promotional efforts
    Ensure availability of promotional materials, literature, gift items.
    overseas; monitors all activities to improve customer relations

    PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT
    Coaches marekting associates on promotional strategies and tactis
    Encourages staff to undertake self-development activities
    Coordinates Conduct of needed enchancement marketing courses for staff
    Monitors performance of marketing staff
    Continously seek improvements of members of the team
    POLICY MAKING/IMPROVEMENT

    Formulates & shares inputs that will initiate and improve the current systems and policies PERFORMS OTHER DUTIES AS MAY BE ASSIGNED


    EDUCATION AND TRAINING :
    Graduate of any marketing related course

    WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
    Combined 10 years experience on the same job earned from a reputable firm of relatable business; at least five (5) years managerial position

    SKILL/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
    Aggresive, Assertive, Highly creative, competitive, team player, results-driven and able to work under pressure; Execellent communication and presentation skills; and proficient in MS word, EXCEL and powerpoint
