Role description:

This role is part of Arcadis' Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis' offices globally. The GEC brings key capabilities and capacity to support our clients seamlessly around the world. • Develop understanding of the business benefits derived from the presence of Global Design and build working relationships with Global Design colleagues
• Operate as a competent CAD / BIM technician within a single area of work with little supervision
• Ensure compliance with Arcadis drafting standards and national drafting standards and meets client and Arcadis requirements
• Assist with the coaching and development of CAD technicians
• Contribute to CAD / BIM deliverables including, sketches, schematic drawings and final working drawings. Input to the production of technical reports. Requiring minimal supervision from a more senior technician or experienced architect
• Inform and advise involved parties about the use of data and application of output and contribute to the resolution of technical issues on projects
• Work with design disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution
• Undertake production checking, of drawing work in progress to ensure that it meets design intent
• Check and verify that quality requirements have been achieved in accordance with Arcadis systems
• Successfully complete assigned technical projects tasks including drafting work within budget and deadlines
• Work towards completing training plan for professional development and attend appropriate events
• Commit to receiving on the job technical training by performing tasks, which are under the direct supervision of more experienced staff within well defined limits
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in an architecture related field
• Have previous relevant experience in architecture and/or drafting
