    Specialist, Travel Services

    Job Description

    The Travel Services Specialist as part of the Travel & Service Department, focuses on business travel needs of the company, its employees, and other individuals with company-related requirements. The scope focuses more on the administrative responsibilities of the department and providing support to other stakeholders.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Processing of domestic and international transportation and lodging arrangements for the organization's employees & clients (flights, hotels, transportation, credit card, etc.)
    • Confirming reservations, distributes tickets along with confirmations to traveler.
    • Researching on optimal travel alternatives and identifying most suitable as well as best quality service with reasonable possible rates.
    • Interacting with partner travel agencies or individuals to verify travel details and arrange reservations.
    • Facilitating Visa and other travel-related document applications
    • Processing of Invoice & Reconciliation of expenses
    • Reporting of accruals to Finance Department
    • Maintenance, identification and verification of Credit Cards
    • Screening and Processing of reimbursements and other related expenses
    • Researching and resolving all incorrect charges with respect to entire travel program
    • Maintaining queues in priority order as well as proper timelines
    • Coordinating, supervising and implementing every aspect of travel arrangements for staff, and clients
    • Monitors and Creates Purchase Orders requirements for the team and other departments, as necessary

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Must have a Bachelor's degree from a three year College or University
    • Must have atleast 1yr of experience handling the similar role in Customer Experience/ BPO Industry.
    • Should be well versed with Flight/ Hotel Bookings, Event management, International travel documentation (VISA formalities) etc.
    • Prior experience in Global Travel Services role would be an added advantage.
    • Should be proficient in MS office i.e. Powerpoint, Word, Excel.
    • Decent communication skills.
