Position Summary
The QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all beauty and personal care products (e.g., skincare, haircare, cosmetics, hygiene products) are manufactured in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), internal quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The role covers raw material evaluation, in-process monitoring, finished goods release, documentation control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities1. Quality Control & Product Compliance
- Review and approve raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods based on approved specifications.
- Conduct or supervise in-process quality checks during batching, filling, labeling, and packing.
- Ensure compliance with ASEAN Cosmetic Directive (ACD), FDA regulations, and applicable local regulatory requirements.
Verify product labeling accuracy (ingredients list, batch number, expiry date, claims compliance).
Documentation & Quality Systems
Maintain and review:
- Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR)
- Batch Packing Records (BPR)
- Certificates of Analysis (COA)
- SOPs and Work Instructions
- Ensure proper documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 / ISO Cosmetic GMP) standards.
Participate in internal audits and support external regulatory inspections.
Deviation, CAPA & Risk Management
Investigate product deviations, non-conformities, and customer complaints.
- Conduct root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone).
- Implement and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Support recall procedures when necessary.
Supplier & Raw Material Management
Evaluate and approve suppliers in coordination with Procurement.
- Review supplier documentation (COA, MSDS, technical data sheets).
Assist in supplier audits and performance evaluations.
Laboratory & Stability Support
Coordinate with QC laboratory for:
- Microbiological testing
- Stability studies
- Compatibility testing
Monitor product stability under accelerated and real-time conditions.
Training & Continuous Improvement
Conduct GMP training for production staff.
- Promote quality awareness culture in manufacturing.
- Identify process improvements to reduce defects and improve yield.
Qualifications
- Graduate ng Biology, Chemistry, Food Technology, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, o ibang related science/engineering course.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- With experience sa QA, QC, or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Knowledgeable sa GMP, quality standards, or basic laboratory procedures is preferred.
- Willing to be assigned at Alaminos, Laguna
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php15, Php18,000.00 per month
