    The Training Lead – Asticom is accountable for the end-to-end execution, quality, and impact of training programs under the Asticom. The role ensures that learning initiatives systematically build critical, in-demand, and AI-enabled capabilities, enable new-hire deployment readiness, and translate learning investments into measurable performance and business outcomes.

    The Training Lead provides people leadership to Training Officers, establishes training standards, governs delivery excellence, and serves as the primary owner of training effectiveness, learner performance, and return on investment (ROI).

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    Training Strategy Execution

    • Translate Asticom Academy's strategic objectives into annual and quarterly training execution plans.
    • Operationalize priority capability programs (e.g., New Hire Bootcamps, Accounting Fundamentals, Telco Engineering, Sales Readiness, AI-enabled skills).
    • Ensure all programs are aligned with business demand, workforce planning, and deployment requirements.
    • Enforce training governance, standards, and quality frameworks.

    Program Design and Quality Assurance

    • Oversee curriculum design, learning pathways, assessments, and certification frameworks.
    • Ensure adherence to adult learning principles, blended learning methodologies, and applied learning.
    • Review and approve learning materials, session plans, and evaluation instruments.
    • Drive continuous improvement based on learner outcomes and stakeholder feedback.

    Training Operations Management

    • Manage training calendars, resource planning, trainer assignments, and logistics.
    • Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Identify and mitigate risks related to delivery capacity, learner performance, and scheduling.
    • Standardize training operations for scalability and consistency.

    People Leadership and Performance Management

    • Lead, coach, and performance-manage Training Officers and assigned trainers.
    • Set clear goals, KPIs, and accountability measures for the training team.
    • Conduct regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
    • Build capability within the training team across facilitation, program management, and data analytics.

    Learner Performance Measurement and ROI

    • Monitor learner attendance, completion, assessment results, certification, and deployment readiness.
    • Measure training effectiveness using established evaluation frameworks (e.g., Kirkpatrick).
    • Partner with business stakeholders to validate post-training application and impact.
    • Prepare dashboards, reports, and executive summaries for leadership review.

    Stakeholder Management

    • Act as the primary point of contact for training execution and outcomes.
    • Collaborate with Business Units, HR, Recruitment, and Operations.
    • Present program results, insights, and improvement recommendations to management.
    • Support employer branding and position Asticom Academy as a center of excellence.

    Innovation and Continuous Improvement

    • Integrate AI tools, digital platforms, and learning technologies into training delivery.
    • Pilot innovative learning approaches (e.g., simulations, labs, gamification, project-based learning).
    • Benchmark practices against industry standards.
    • Drive cost efficiency while maintaining quality and learner outcomes.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Business, or related field
    • Master's degree or professional certifications (preferred)

    Experience Requirements

    • 7–10 years of experience in Learning & Development or Training Operations
    • Minimum of 3–5 years in a leadership role
    • Experience managing trainers, training officers, and large-scale programs
    • Exposure to corporate academies, shared services, BPO, or technical skills training is an advantage
