PRIMARY ROLE AND PURPOSE
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and systems within the organization. This includes performing routine inspections, troubleshooting equipment failures, carrying out repairs, and optimizing equipment performance to minimize downtime. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to maintain safe and efficient production processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Graduate Studies : N/A
Licensure Examinations : PRC is an advantage
General Skills :
o Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
o Knowledge of equipment maintenance, repair, and improvement techniques
o Proficiency in MS Offices
o Good communication and interpersonal skills
o Familiarity with safety regulations and practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems
- Carry out necessary repairs promptly to minimize downtime and prevent production delays
- Analyze equipment malfunctions and perform root cause analysis to prevent future issues
- Inspect equipment for safety hazards and make necessary adjustments to ensure safe operations
- Ensure maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Monitor the performance of equipment and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability
- Assist in setting up new equipment and ensuring it meets operational standards
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for maintenance tasks
- Provide regular reports to management on equipment performance, maintenance issues, and improvements
