Admissions OfficerNumber of hours: 40 hours/weekSchedule: EST Tasks required:Recruit students by developing alumni networks and initiating campaigns to induce students to attend the institutionProvide students with information about admission process and answer any questions they haveReview prospective student applications and interviews prospective studentsFollow up with students to verify any application issues, including discrepancies or missing informationContact applicant references to verify information included on resumes, letters of recommendation, and applicationsWork collaboratively with admissions counselors to review applicants, make final admissions decisions, and send out admissions offersExamine the current admission process and recommend changes when necessaryProcess student registration paperwork and paymentUpdate and maintain a database of students' informationMaintain recruiting operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changesImprove quality of results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes and implementing changesCreates a resource-rich environment for students and teachers as it pertains to college readiness and educational and career planningOther ad hoc tasks that would be assignedRequirements:Proven work experience as an Admissions Officer is requiredWorking knowledge of Prosper CRM is highly desiredExperience in working for universities is a huge advantageAbility to create and maintain detailed records and ensure accuracy of databaseGood leadership skillsAbility to call, connect, and interact with potential studentsProfessional email and phone communication is requiredExhibit strong work ethic and initiativeClear and concise communicator with excellent English proficiency and effective verbal communication skillsSelf-disciplined and organized; able to consistently hit daily and monthly targets with limited supervision
