• The ideal candidate will have the expertise to translate photos or design concepts into crochet patterns and guide others in replicating the design.
• This job is a long-term contract-based WFH job with a potential bonus for really skilled artisans.

• Review and interpret design photos or concepts provided.
• Crochet prototypes based on these designs.
• Write detailed and clear crochet patterns for the designs, ensuring they are understandable for various skill levels.
• Test patterns for accuracy and feasibility.
• Collaborate with the design team to refine patterns and prototypes.
• Provide troubleshooting and guidance for those following the patterns.
• Keep updated with crochet trends, techniques, and materials.
• Take photos of the procedures and video record the whole crocheting process.

• 2+ years of crocheting experience.
• Demonstrated experience in crochet design and pattern writing.
• Strong understanding of various crochet techniques and stitches.
• Ability to accurately interpret design concepts and translate them into crochet items.
• Excellent written communication skills for pattern writing.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Proficiency in English.

• Certification from a recognized crochet guild or organization.
• Experience teaching or tutoring crochet, indicating an ability to explain complex techniques simply.
• Published patterns in magazines, online platforms, or books.
