- Completed a four-year course, preferably in a business-related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in roles such as Merchandising, Purchasing, Buyer, Category Manager, or in a senior capacity.
- Strong understanding of category strategy, revenue, and gross margin targets.
- Proficient in inventory forecasting.
- Knowledge of pricing strategies and the ability to recommend prices based on unified price setting.
- Negotiation skills for quantities and acceptable margins with suppliers and distributors.
- Familiarity with market trends in the pharmaceutical retail and consumer items space.
- Ability to analyze product performance and conduct sell-through tracking on a monthly/seasonal basis.
- Effective communication with suppliers, distributors, and remote stores.
- Experience in pharmaceutical retail, supermarket settings, or related industries within FMCG chain retail organizations.
