Job summary
Provide medical care to patients including conducting consultations examinations and assessments diagnosing and treating illnesses ordering performing and interpreting diagnostic tests prescribing medications developing treatment plans providing preventive care routine checkups health education managing chronic diseases monitoring patient progress providing first-line emergency urgent care referring patients to specialists coordinating continuity of care maintaining accurate confidential medical records educating patients on healthy lifestyle choices disease prevention medication adherence complying with medical ethics safety standards regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine MD or equivalent degree
- Valid medical license to practice
- Completion of internship clinical training
- Board certification or eligibility preferred depending on institution
