- Supervise and manage cashier operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of patient payments, collections, and financial transactions.
- Monitor cash handling procedures, deposits, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy, accountability, and compliance with hospital policies.
- Train, guide, and evaluate cashier staff to maintain high standards of service and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, and other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth cash flow management.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports and analyses for management review.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of all financial transactions and ensure audit readiness.
- Ensure adherence to security, cash handling, and internal control policies at all times.
- Respond promptly to issues or discrepancies in cash handling, implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance cash management systems and operational efficiency.
- Foster a professional, courteous, and customer-oriented environment for patients and staff interacting with cashier operations.
- Bachelor's degree in counting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Preferably with at least one (2) year of supervisory experience in cash management, cashier operations, or finance-related roles.
- Knowledge of cash handling systems, reconciliation, and internal controls.
- Proficient in MS Office, POS systems, and electronic cash management tools.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
