    As a Manager of Clearing Operations, he/ she will oversees the back-office settlement of financial transactions, ensuring trades are cleared accurately, on time, and in compliance with regulations. They manage risk, lead teams in processing check images and, or securities, and optimize operational workflows for efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operations Management: Oversees daily clearing activities, including the matching and settlement of checks or securities.
    • Risk Mitigation: Monitors and manages potential risks associated with transaction settlement to prevent financial losses.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensures all operations comply with internal policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
    • Team Leadership: Manages staff, provides support, and conducts performance reviews for the clearing team.
    • Process Improvement: Identifies and implements strategies to enhance operational efficiency, speed, and accuracy.
    • Reporting: Prepares and presents clearing reports to senior management or the Board of Directors.

    Key Qualifications

    • Education: A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
    • Experience: Proven experience in banking operations, clearing, or settlement roles.
    • Skills: Strong attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with check signature verification.
    • Competencies: Excellent time management, analytical, and leadership abilities.
