Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a technology firm specializing in software development of platforms, accounting systems, and game provider integrations for the gaming industry.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and selected international tax compliance. This includes responsibilities for all documentation; support and research of any relevant tax issues, initial tax interpretation, impact analysis, and recommendations.
• Contributes to the effective management of tax audits, helping minimize assessments, by providing strong arguments and tax reconciliations.
• Ensures timely settlement of tax obligations, filing of required tax returns, other tax reports, and pertinent attachments, including accuracy in the tax computation by the applicable tax regime
• Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden.
• Support the company in all facets of tax compliance, ensuring adherence to national and local tax laws imposed by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and local government units (LGU).
• Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings
• Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws
• Treats all information as confidential
• Handle BIR tax investigations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification in accounting or tax laws is a plus
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting or taxation
• Has experience in handling taxation, BIR books of account, BIR compliances and BIR transactions, tax annualization, audit, LOA, and other tax-related transactions
• Has experience in the related field is required
• Has good English communication skills both written and oral.
• Able to get along in a team well
• Being proficient in MS Office and knowing how to use some formulas is an advantage
• Willing to extend hours if needed
• Willing to work in BGC, office set up, from Mondays to Fridays

Salary range: PHP 30, PHP 40,000.00 per month
